Question: Is resident evil 5 good?

Iv heard some peopls say its the best resident evil out there. and iv heard people (even ones who liked RE4) say its not worth the time or money. so..whats your take on it? and do you think that capcom will make a Wii edition for it (like they did with 4)?

Its a good game to play, lots of action, etc. Graphics are nice, and the storyline is decent. People that dont like it are just RE fanboys who hate the fact that it doesnt feature "zombies ". IMO, i mean, if every game had the same old virus doing the same old thing, it would get boring. It has to do with a new type of virus, very similar to Las Plagas in RE 4. So think RE 4, but in a middle east environment. As for the Wii, dont expect it. Right now, Capcom is just finishing the DLC for RE 5 for 360 and PS3. Get the game. Haha, i love resident evil and i mean, nothing compares to the originals, but i mean, its a good game, offers scary/ gruesome cutscenes, etc. got to love the chainsaw baddies.

Well Resident Evil 5 was a good game, but I think RE4 was much better. I mean RE5 has pretty good graphics and combat, but it was way too short in my opinion. Plus the storyline was not as great as the previous one. Although I loved Wesker in RE5, he is my favorite character and since the game revolved around him I did like those parts a lot.

As long as you have played games besides just 4, yes. The extremely fun and nostalgiac way to do it is play all of the old school games for PSX and beat them. The fast, still fun, way to catch up on the story is play RE:Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii. Once you know the story, yes, you should get it. Definetly worth it.

Resident Evil 5 is alot like Resident Evil 4 you move your character etc but this time in resident evil 5 you have a partner which is even better because Ashley didnt do shit lol but yah Resident Evil 5 has more tention and harder and way more better graphics if you get it we can play together on Xbox Live eh?

I only played it for Wesker, TBH. I'm a RE fan, but I really prefer the old games. This one didn't feel at all like survival horror. At least I was low on ammo a few times in 4.
