Question: Why is resident evil 5 (the game) so short?

Just wondering..... i loved resednet 4 and thats y im askin this question......everyone kno how long the 4th one was...... does anyone think that there will be another resident evil game with leon like the 4th one????

I don't know but its suppose to be played over and over to upgrade weapons and stuff. Hopefully they will add more Download content later on.
