What is the difference between the first resident evil video game and then resident evil director's cut?
I'm looking to buy the first game of the series, and cant find it anywhere for under $20, and since it is an older game I figured I could find a lower price somewhere...but I was wondering if I would get a better game with director's cut or whatever if it was the same story and everything.

hi, ive been playing resident evil for a few years now, i was bored and thought i would ask some questions about some things i dont get and i just recently restarted and finished the resident evil remake for gamecube, i guess this is what reinterested me into this , .Game questionIn the remake for gamecube, theres the part where u push the statues to get the puzzle box and if you do it wrong, poison gas fills the room. i had to check online on how to get pass, how did u originally figure it out?was there some note found in the game? i didnt read much of the files throughout the game Plot questionswhy does wesker inject himself with the T virus but doesnt become a zombie but instead gets superpowers?the lisa trevor monster, i dont get why she commits suicide when you knock down those 4 bouldersfor RE2 and RE3, how exactly did the virus leak into the city, if anyone knows.i only played code veronica for a little bit at my friends, i never finished and got to understand what is code veronica?in RE5, i dont get that scene where ozwell spencer tells wesker he was manufactured??or something like thatLast, in RE5, was wesker trying to use the uroborus thingy just to make the whole world into big creatures with tentacles like he was at the last level?

Alright, I am a huge resident evil fan. I have been watching my uncle play the original games sense i was little. I now have a whole bunch of the games for gamecube. I need to know the storyline sequence of events the way the writers intended it to be. I have played these games before, however, i feel my timeline is all messed up. So can anyone take these games and put them in storyline order. Just these games.
